FlightGear

A free, open source (GPL) flight simulator. I'm mainly interested in scenery development, but have also worked on cockpits and systems for several aircraft.

OpenStreetMap

Open mapping project - I've walked practically every street in and around Wakefield to add them to OSM.

Leeds Hackspace

Home to a bunch of creative geeks - I can be found there building a robots, pieces of flight simulator, or fiddling with radio related things.

Air Cadets

I've been with 127 (City of Wakefield) Squadron for the past 34 years as a cadet, then civillian instructor. I teach principles of flight and map reading and run the squadrons flight simulators.
